Castillo de Almodóvar
The seat of House Tyrell, with the dungeons standing in for Casterly Rock. It is so well preserved that barely any CGI was needed — the castle now has its own Game of Thrones tour.

Córdoba
The Mezquita, the Jewish Quarter, the patios: by train, Córdoba is closer than many of the city’s own car parks. Catch the train in town and walk from the station into the old centre. No parking stress, but a terrace waiting for you at the end of the day.
By bus · route M-250
Almodóvar del Río
The imposing Castillo de Almodóvar, known as Highgarden from Game of Thrones, stands proudly above the village. The M-250 bus stops in Almodóvar; from there it is a lovely climb up to the castle.
By train · from Posadas station
Seville
The cathedral, the Real Alcázar and the Plaza de España: with the direct train from Posadas, Seville is well within reach for a day in the city. Out in the morning, and back in the evening on the last train to the quiet of the town.
