TWO PEOPLE · ONE DREAM · A PLACE IN THE SOUTH

Who we are

A life built on love

We are Dyango and Tamara Caljouw. We met on 6 June 2015 and have been practically inseparable ever since. Two years later our daughter Gaia was born, the most beautiful and natural next chapter of our life together.

Animals, the outdoors and freedom play a big part in our family. Tamara is a true horse lover, a passion Gaia has wholeheartedly inherited. It’s in her blood, as they say.

“A life close to animals and nature
felt natural to us there from the very first moment.”

Dyango is half Spanish; his mother was born and raised in Seville. His parents live in Andalusia, which for years was a familiar and much-loved holiday destination for us.

A local neighbour regularly lent us horses, and sometimes donkeys too. From the moment we started coming here together, our bond with Spain kept growing.

Together we discovered the country in all its facets: big cities and small villages, local restaurants, the sunshine, the rich culture and the relaxed pace of life.

Among all those moments, the idea slowly took shape of one day creating something of our own: a place that fits who we are and how we want to live.
