General

These terms apply to all bookings, rental activities and agreements relating to donkey rental at Posada Aurora. By renting a donkey, the renter confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.

Rental and rates

You can rent a donkey at Posada Aurora for:

• The rental fee must be paid in full before the ride begins.
• The donkeys may not leave the grounds of Posada Aurora.

Use and supervision

• An adult must always be present while a child is riding the donkey. The accompanying adult stays with the child for the entire ride and walks the route alongside them.
• A Posada Aurora staff member is always present to assist or give instructions.
• The donkey may only be ridden by children weighing up to a maximum of 40 kg. We rely on your honesty when providing the child’s weight.
• If it turns out at the start that the child is too heavy, the donkey may not be ridden. In that case, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.
• Hitting, kicking or otherwise mistreating the donkeys is not permitted. Respect for the animals is required.
• Wearing a helmet is mandatory for the entire activity.

Liability and safety

Handling animals carries inherent risks. By taking part, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks. Entering the grounds and participating in the donkey rental is at your own risk.

Posada Aurora is not liable for:

• Injury or damage caused by the behaviour of the donkey or other animals
• Damage to personal belongings
• Any other incident resulting from improper use or insufficient supervision by the renter

(Unless caused by intent or gross negligence.)

• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s safety at all times.
• Staff instructions must always be followed immediately and in full.

Cancellation and force majeure

• In the event of bad weather, illness of the animals or other circumstances beyond our control, Posada Aurora reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity. In that case, you will receive a full refund.

Responsible treatment of animals

• The donkeys at Posada Aurora are cared for with care and attention. We expect the same respect and understanding from our visitors.
• In the event of misconduct or animal mistreatment, the activity will be ended immediately without refund of the amount paid.

Final provisions

• Posada Aurora reserves the right to amend these terms.
• In situations not covered by these terms, Posada Aurora will decide.
• These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the region where Posada Aurora is located.
